2019002 - Planned delivery time of contract ignored in PR created via MRP

Planned delivery time in Contract defined in source list is not taken into account for requisition created by MRP.
Planned delivery time defined in the material master record is considered in the Purchase Requisition created by MRP instead of the planned delivery time defined in a contract.
  1. Enter transaction OMDT.
  2. Select MRP group.
  3. Select Field "Sched:Info/Agrmt" for plant and mrp group.
  4. Save.
  5. Create a contract (outline agreement) for material in transaction.
  6. Maintain planned delivery time in contract.
  7. Create a source list for the material and plant with the outline agreements as a source and relevant for MRP.
  8. Create Requisition via MRP.

Check planned delivery time in Requisition.
  • Planned delivery time will now be adopted from contract in requisition.

2767024 - Planned Order showing the planned delivery time from the material master incorrectly

You run MRP and planned orders are created to cover your requirements. The planned delivery time of that planned orders is pulling from the material master even that your customizing is defined to take the planned delivery time from an info record/agreement.

Define a scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement for your MRP Group on OPPR:
  • f you set this indicator, the system checks whether a planned delivery time is entered in the purchasing info record or in the outline agreement. This planned delivery time is then used to calculate the delivery date and the release date.
You can check that the value used for scheduling the planned order will always follow the value maintained on the info record:

2292182 - Planned delivery time isn't calculated as per working days

You want to make planned delivery time calculated as per working days, but you found the result is not as you expected even after using the enhancement in Note 603908.

The delivery time calculation uses only calendar days, because this time is spent outside the recevier's factory, so that the factory calendar is irrelevant. Also it is unkown that which day the vendor or transportation companies will be working.

Note 603098 does not change this system behaviour, it only provides additional functionality for transaction WPDTC. The planned delivery dates can be calculated via transaction WPDTC but several applications (e.g. purchasing) are not
able to use only working days.
