Working with SAP Application Interface Framework (add-on based on SAP NetWeaver)

Customizing (/AIF/CUST) System Configuration Interface Development Error Handling Monitoring When to use it? If you have a complex, heterogeneous system landscape using the SAP NetWeaver PI Do functional instead of technical monitoring Enhance data quality as a result of business users' ability to correct errors within related applications Restrict interface data and error monitor access by flexible authorization rules Enforce interface implementation guidelines Perform mass error handling Customizing (/AIF/CUST) System Configuration Create business systems (objects). This is for value mapping, if it is system dependent. Data transfer: a Data Transfer report is required to transfer qRFC/tRFC, CIF PP, and BDC data into the SAP Application Interface Framework. Recipients Maintain the alert recipients in the SAP Application Interface Framework A recipient defines that a user or a group of users is responsible for the interface

Material Ledger

Get understanding of how the Material Ledger works. Material ledger  The Material Ledger’s designation is to handle  actual costing by collecting price differences against standards, and manage inventory in multiple currencies  using actual prices. Use the Material Ledger to manage inventory in both standard cost and actual cost.   It means standard cost are considered ( ~ total cost of performing an operation or producing a good or service under normal conditions  ) and used during a period of time ( month ) to value any material movement. And at the end of the period, the Material Ledger calculates the actual costs for the period. This ac tual periodic cost is an actual wheighted moving average price. Periodic unit price is used to revalue inventory at month end. It is available only only if Settlement Price Control 3 indicator is set. Actual cost component The actual cost component split groups actual costs into "folders" across multiple manufacturing levels Process overiv
